How To Get There

From Manila you can get a flight direct to Siargao Island or you can arrive to Surigao and then ride a boat going to the Island, If there is not enaf  other way to get there in budget its to fly to Butuan, going with a van to Surigao City and then take a ferry to Siargao.

Upon arrival in Surigao City, catch a multicab or tricycle to take you to the port, there are daily trips from Surigao to Dapa, the earliest leaving at 5:30AM and the latest at around noon. Take note that the trigger boats use different port from the RoRo Ferry, so make sure to tell the driver on where you intend to ride.

 

From Dapa Port, transfer to a tricycle (tricycle) or habal-habal (motorbike) to take you to General Luna. 1.Surfing

In everyday parlance, “on Cloud 9” means feeling elated, on top of the world, but for surfers it’s more than this. Cloud 9 is the name of the most famous wave in the Philippines, and Siargao Island is regularly rated as one of the top 10 surf sites in the world, you can also get a lesson from beginner to intermediate, surfing courses starts at 500 pesos.

2. Island Hopping “Daku Island”

To the west of Siargao is the town of Socorro. It is best known for  Bucas Grande also known as Sohoton Cove National Park. It is accessible via ferry from the Dapa port in Siargao and costs about 100 pesos. From Socorro, there are boats that can be hired to Bucas Grande.
Bucas Grande is composed of a network of limestone islands, some of which are still unexplored. The scene is framed by virgin mangrove forests and clear blue waters with white sand beaches.

5.Sugba Lagoon

Sugba Lagoon is one of the most popular places to visit in Siargao. This lagoon surrounded by mountains has become a playground for those who want to enjoy stand-up paddle-boarding, kayaking or dive off a cliff-diving board into clear waters.

6.Exploore On The Wheels

The island of Siargao is a great destination for riders. It’s small enough to circle in a day and motorbike rentals are cheap and widely available around General Luna. You can rent a motorbike as soon as you arrive from the airport. There are beautiful uncrowded spots spread around the island that you can easily drive yourself to like Tayangban Cave and Magpupungko Pool in Pilar, Malinao, Dapa, Pacifico, Taktak Falls in Sta. Monica and Del Carmen. The circumferential road is well-paved.
